BASIC TENETS OF HEALTH

When we think about holistic health, the first thing that comes to mind is good Nutrition. It’s certainly one of the fundamental rules of good health, but it’s not the only one.

Our Conventional Medical Model is called The health Care System, but I would venture to say that it is more about sick care in as much as the system is set up to manage your symptoms with drugs and surgical procedures.

Real health care can only be achieved by understanding why symptoms of sickness present; and eradicating them by building health, one meal and lifestyle change at a time.

Disease presents because of either toxicity or a deficiency. Most of the food that we eat is processed and void of nutritive value.

Some of the diseases that are most prevelant in a processed food, excess sugar culture are:

Heart disease- given medication to manage heart condition

Cancer- radiation, surgery and chemotherapy on an already compromised immune system

Obesity- gastric bypass surgery, appetite suppressants. The fattening of America began in the 70’s when President Nixon was in office; the secretary of Agriculture introduced a new technology in form Japan that converted Corn into a cheap sweetener called High Fructose Corn Syrup.

Diabetes – pills and insulin and some dietary advice. But you never really get off of the medication.

The medical community says that these diseases are genetic, I beg to differ. As Dr. Oneil says “ Genetics may load the gun of illness, but it is diet and lifestyle that will pull the trigger”.

THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED EPIGENETICS- YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR GENETIC EXPRESSION THROUGH THE ADHERENCE TO A HEALTHY DIET AND LIFESTYLE.

Conventional medicine has its place; they do very well with life saving interventions, but fail miserably with chronic illnesses.

The bible says in Lev 17:11 that the life of the flesh is in the blood!!

HEALTH BUILDING: is achieved by implementing the basic tenets of health;

1) GOOD NUTRITION:

a)Whole foods, Fresh fruit and vegetables, (Organic if possible) .

  1. b) Eat Based on Your Metabolic Type (One man’s meat may be another Man’s poisin).

 

2) Drink Clean Water:

 

a) Drink Half Of Your Body Weight In Ounces.

b) Celtic Salt increases Hydration on a Cellular level, it pulls water into the cell

3) GOOD DIGESTION- Chew food, don’t drink with meals

4) SLEEP- body is on a circadian rhythm; body is detoxifying and repairing itself at night. There are healing hormones that are released

5) FRESH AIR- DEEP BREATHING, GOOD OXYGENATION, ASSISTS IN ENERGY PRODUCTION

6) EXERCISE:

  • Improves circulation
  •  Strengthens heart muscle
  • Helps move toxins through Lymphatic System (Garbage disposal system)

7) STRESS MANAGEMENT

:

  1. a) Creates an insult to ones physical and mental health.
